Can I really build credit without an SSN or ITIN?
Yes. U.S. credit bureaus can create and match a file using your legal name, date of birth and address. Fynory reports your account and monthly payments with those details, so you don’t need an SSN or ITIN to start.
When will I see Fynory on my credit report?
Within 60–90 days of your first payment. Matching a file without an SSN or ITIN takes an extra cycle, which is why we don’t promise 30 days. After the first appearance, FYNORY updates every month.
What name will appear on my credit report?
The account appears under the creditor name FYNORY.
Is there a credit check?
No. Joining Fynory does not involve a hard inquiry and does not affect your score.
Which bureaus do you report to?
It depends on your plan. Starter reports to Equifax. Plus reports to Equifax and TransUnion. Premium reports to Equifax, TransUnion and Experian.
Is the account line money I can use?
No. The account line is a reporting line attached to your membership. It is not cash, a loan or a card you can spend with.
Will my score go up?
On-time payment history is the largest factor in most scoring models, and Fynory adds to it every month. But no one can honestly guarantee a specific score or number of points, and we don’t.
What happens if I get an SSN or ITIN later?
Keep your membership. Bureaus can link your SSN or ITIN to the file you already built, so your history keeps counting.
What if I miss a payment?
Late payments can be reported and can hurt your file. Turn on autopay and keep your card up to date in the app to avoid it.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, right from the app. The on-time history that was already reported stays on your report.
Is Fynory a bank or a lender?
No. Fynory is a credit-building membership. We are not a bank, a cash lender or a credit repair organization.
I live outside the United States. Can I join?
There is a separate international membership for eligible countries, with identity review using your passport or national ID.
Your credit clock starts the day you join.
Every month you wait is a month of history you don’t have. Join in about five minutes.
